It's wedding season so I've been scarce

Things are busy. So busy in fact that we haven't really started much if any planning for the little miss at all. And I'm entering my 6th month - I'm 24 weeks pregnant.

So can I appease you with pictures until I can get a full blown update in here?

My little man ready for the Puerto Rican Day parade which we won't be going to.

And did I mention that I'm growing. Much more this time around then I was with Ari. At my last app't I was up 9lbs in weight gain.

And excuse the crazy hair

So yeah - steadily growing.

Black is the new Pink

Yesterday was my Level II Ultrasound and we found out we are balancing out the household and welcoming in a little Libra Girl. A GIRL.

I'm thoroughly surprised. Downright flabberghasted. I swore left and right because I was carrying the way I am that I was expecting another boy. I had no inkling that it was a girl. Rob had an inkling but made no mention to it. And here I am a few months from being a mama to a little girl. I haven't gotten a chance to really wrap my head around it yet. WOW.

A girl. Operation find stuff that's not PINK begins.

Oh, but to understand Baby Talk...

There's always positives in even the worst of situations right? And I completely forgot to mention the cutest thing in my last post...

When we get home from the hospital, I held Ari and Rob was on the floor inspecting the wall where the incident occurred. He was trying his best to figure out WHERE Ari connected to the corner. So I put Ari down on the floor - and he walks right up to the walled corner babbling all the way in Rob's direction. Oh but to be able to understand his own baby language.

Rob is still on his knees inspecting and Ari runs his arms against the wall. Ari continues to talk and he points at the wall then gently lies his head against it and continues talking. He rubs his head gently on the wall (where the cut was) and points to both the wall and the floor. And then we realize what he's doing. He's telling Rob what happened. He actually was explaining in his own language how he got his ouchie.

It was the cutest thing ever.

And he did it again last night. Albert was over and Ari was sitting in the high chair. Albert asks "What happened to your head" and Ari leaned over to the wall and again, rubbed his head against it. Now being his mom, I'm convinced he's a genius, ha, but in reality its just the cutest thing.
